“We in the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to all countries; leaders, heads of governments and parliaments, ministers, ambassadors, personalities, scholars, leaders of Palestinian factions, and political, factional, religious, and popular delegations, who offered condolences and congratulations on the martyrdom of the movement’s leader, the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh, whether by personal attendance at the condolence council in Doha, through official statements and messages, by phone call, or by interacting on various social media.
“We express our thanks and appreciation to the Islamic Republic of Iran, its supreme leader, president, government, and people, for the measures taken to organize a massive official and popular funeral for the martyr leader Abu al-Abd [Ismail Haniyeh]. May Allah have mercy on him.
“We express our appreciation for the position of the brotherly State of Qatar, represented by its Emir and Father Emir, its government, and its noble people, in receiving the body of our late martyr, the martyr of Palestine and the Ummah [Islamic world], and burying him in the soil of this blessed country, to embrace a great stature and a great symbol of Palestine, Jerusalem, and the blessed Al-Aqsa.
