CEP Senior Advisor Ambassador Edmund Fitton-Brown testified before the United Kingdom Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee for hearing, "The UK’s international counter-terrorism policy," 

CEP Senior Advisor Ian Acheson writes: "No one is talking about these clandestine arrivals who have melted into the background, traumatised, exploited, enslaved. Yet they will include tomorrow’s violent extremists who do or will pose a threat to national security. We have literally no idea where these people are or the level of threat they pose. We do know that failed asylum seekers who do make it into the system and somehow remain stuck there, sometimes for years, have committed terrorist acts that have stunned this country."

CEP Senior Advisor Ian Acheson writes: "Recent weekends have seen tens of thousands of protestors on the streets of London and elsewhere in a show of solidarity for Palestinians. The right of peaceful protest in this country is a precious one and a bulwark against tyranny. It also acts as a safety valve for emotions and opinions that might otherwise curdle into violence. But the opposite is also true. Protests in favour of Palestinian rights in Gaza and the miserable conditions its citizens endure have clearly been infiltrated by extremists who are exploiting police ineptitude to intimidate British Jews."

"This weekend the Counter Extremism Project (CEP), a non-profit international policy organisation, called for a boycott of three hotels in London that are owned by senior Qataris or the country’s sovereign wealth fund until 'the Al Thani royal family surrender the orchestrators' of the October 7 attack."

"According to the Counter Extremism Project, Hizb ut-Tahrir is banned in 'at least 13 countries', including Pakistan, Lebanon and Egypt and advocates for a 'global caliphate'. The group is not proscribed in the UK."

"The number of far-right, white supremacist fight clubs is exploding. The Counter Extremism Project (CEP) published a recent report that pinpointed at least 100 in the USA, Canada, and Europe.

Alexander Ritzmann, the CEP report’s author, said recently: 'This is an unprecedented growth. I’ve never seen a network in right-wing extremism grow so fast. Usually, it takes years to build a transnational network. It’s concerning.'"
