Technological advances have also enabled elements of the radicalization process to move online, and reports have shown that interest in extremism can be sparked or nurtured by viewing extremist content online. This highlights the importance of preventing radicalization by blocking and actively removing extremist content from online platforms and social media.

Fact:

On March 25, 2017, as Bangladesh Armed Forces raided a militant hideout in South Surma Upazila, Bangladesh, militants detonated two bombs in a crowd of 500-600 onlookers. The attack, claimed by ISIS, killed four civilians and three police officers, and injured 50 others.
