“The recent US sanctions against the IRGC commanders derives from their maximum desperation and anger against the Islamic Iran's might and greatness. Sanction against the IRGC and its commanders which have defeated the US evil strategies and policies in the region is not a new thing and will yield no results but strengthening the IRGC forces’ determination to increase the Islamic Iran’s might, safeguard the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation and cut the hands of aggressors against Iran's territorial integrity.”“Commander: US Sanctions against IRGC Commanders Out of Desperation,” Fars News Agency, June 26, 2019, http://en.farsnews.com/13980405001008.

Marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Counter Extremism Project's ARCHER at House 88 presents a landmark concert of music composed in ghettos and death camps, performed in defiance of resurgent antisemitism. Curated with world renowned composer, conductor, and musicologist Francesco Lotoro, the program restores classical, folk, and popular works, many written on scraps of paper or recalled from memory, to public consciousness. Featuring world and U.S. premieres from Lotoro's archive, this concert honors a repertoire that endured against unimaginable evil.
