The Public Relations Department of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement advising citizens in countries hosting U.S. forces to maintain a distance of at least 500 metres from areas described as the “covert and residential quarters of U.S. personnel.” In the statement, the IRGC warned that, should what it termed “U.S. crimes” continue, retaliatory actions against personnel would remain on its agenda. The military entity further claimed that several U.S. officers and troops had left military bases and established a presence in urban residential buildings.
A man shouting "Allahu Akbar" stabbed two men in separate attacks near Central Park on Manhattan's Upper West Side Thursday afternoon. The NYPD identified Raul Morales, 51, as the suspect.
