New York Times: U.S. Pushes Allies to Chase a New Terrorism Target: The Far Left
The United States was as concerned as always about Islamist terrorism, said the official, Monica A. Jacobsen, according to a copy of her prepared remarks reviewed by The New York Times and three officials briefed on the meeting. But, she told her counterparts from Europe, Canada and Australia, the Trump administration also wanted more attention on what it believed was an insidious, underestimated threat: the far left.
The two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran cracked on the first day. Israel on Wednesday launched its largest strike on Lebanon since the war began, killing more than 250 people. Iran called it a grave violation and threatened strong responses. The Strait of Hormuz remains largely closed. Peace talks are scheduled in Islamabad on Friday.

JNS: US marshals arrest Silver Spring man for stalking, making ‘antisemitic gesture’ toward a woman
The Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C., said that U.S. marshals arrested Bryan Betancur, of Silver Spring, Md., as he arrived in D.C. Superior Court for “another matter” and turned him over to the department on stalking charges. The 28-year-old allegedly stalked a woman at an event in downtown Washington on March 20 and “used an antisemitic gesture towards the victim,” the department said. After he was escorted from the event, he “waited for the victim to leave and followed her yelling antisemitic slurs until the victim was able to walk away,” the department alleges.

An Israeli restaurant in Munich was attacked overnight, smashing several windows and throwing pyrotechnic devices inside, police said on Friday. The Dutch Jewish community’s watchdog group on antisemitism on Friday called on the government to follow the example of the U.K. and ban the artist Ye, or Kanye West, from entering the Netherlands ahead of his planned concert in June. “I think he should not receive a platform and that the U.K. reacted correctly and took good measures on Ye, a rapper who’s made many antisemitic statements, praises Nazism,” Naomi Mestrum, the director of the Center for Information and Documentation on Israel (CIDI), told JNS.

LBC: Police in London and Manchester given extra £5 million following Golders Green attack
Security minister Dan Jarvis said the money would help “keep people safe in the places where they live, work and worship”. The funding uplift follows an alleged arson attack in Golders Green, north-west London, where four Jewish community ambulances were set alight last month, and a terror attack on a synagogue in Manchester last October.
The Green Party has been accused of supporting “crackpot conspiracy theorists” after a number of its local election candidates appear to have made antisemitic remarks. A dossier seen by The Independent showed that several prominent Green candidates have made such comments in social media posts. One candidate previously resigned from the Labour Party following allegations of anti-semitism, while another argued that the October 7 attack on Israel, which killed 828 people, was justified.
