Hezbollah’s Influence in Lebanon

(New York, NY) – Despite U.N. resolutions and international agreements demanding its disarmament, the Iranian-sponsored terror group Hezbollah has steadily grown as a military and political force in Lebanon, to the detriment of regional and international security. In the report, Hezbollah’s Influence in Lebanon, the Counter Extremism Project (CEP) details the history of Hezbollah’s development from a small Iran-funded guerrilla group into an organization that has permeated many sectors of Lebanese society and subverted Lebanon’s sovereignty.
