Vice News (France): Les utilisateurs de 8chan se tournent vers le Darkweb – et ce n’est pas forcément une bonne nouvelle
"Since hosting provider Cloudfare blocked access to the site - following an announcement revealing that the author of the El Paso shootings in Texas, had posted a racist message on the site a few minutes before the attack on a shopping mall that killed more than 20 people and injured 20 people - users of 8chan fled into the darkest depths of the net, including darknet, an obscure Albanian site and even an alternative Internet based on bitcoins. David Ibsen, Managing Director of the Counter Extremism Project (CEP) told VICE News: 'Online platforms like 8chan have allowed extremist ideologies to become globalized. If the 8chan site closes completely, then it will be up to the leading companies to follow them to keep this content and these users out of the web as they navigate from one platform to another.'"
The Counter Extremism Project Presents
Enduring Music: Compositions from the Holocaust
Marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Counter Extremism Project's ARCHER at House 88 presents a landmark concert of music composed in ghettos and death camps, performed in defiance of resurgent antisemitism. Curated with world renowned composer, conductor, and musicologist Francesco Lotoro, the program restores classical, folk, and popular works, many written on scraps of paper or recalled from memory, to public consciousness. Featuring world and U.S. premieres from Lotoro's archive, this concert honors a repertoire that endured against unimaginable evil.
