The Missouri State University Ad Team's One95 campaign — to combat global terrorism — has recently gained international attention. In late September, the effort was highlighted during a seminar about "Challenging Extremism: Engaging the Successor Generation" in Washington, D.C. The seminar was attended by more than 100 people from 37 different countries.
Using the concept created by the MSU Ad Team, the seminar featured first-person narratives and programs representing different regions and approaches. The seminar also looked at how several nations are developing counter-extremism initiatives that may have applicability to a wider community of nations.
