Majalla: The establishment of new organization to counter extremism
Six years ago, a group of political leaders such as former American ambassador to the United Nations, Mark Wallace, ambassador Dennis Ross and former CIA director James Woolsey, established an advocacy group called "United Against Nuclear Iran" (UANI), aimed at preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. This has been done through exercising pressure on companies and institutions which deal with the Iranian government. UANI influenced the decisions adopted by the Congress. This led Iran's foreign minister, Javad Zarif, to admit that "the strongest group active in the United States against Iran is UANI.”

Enduring Music: Compositions from the Holocaust
Marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Counter Extremism Project's ARCHER at House 88 presents a landmark concert of music composed in ghettos and death camps, performed in defiance of resurgent antisemitism. Curated with world renowned composer, conductor, and musicologist Francesco Lotoro, the program restores classical, folk, and popular works, many written on scraps of paper or recalled from memory, to public consciousness. Featuring world and U.S. premieres from Lotoro's archive, this concert honors a repertoire that endured against unimaginable evil.
