Le Journal des femmes: Terrorisme: comment repérer les signes de radicalisation chez l'ado? (France)
To better identify the risks of radicalization among young people, two NGOs (the European Foundation for Democracy and the Counter extremism project) publish a practical guide for adults. It aims to better recognize signs in adolescents and presents 26 cases, as well as questions and answers. This tool, in which the Ministry of Education has participated, will also allow teachers to have the keys to react to a student who refuses to attend a group outing for example, or when they notice the presence of a preacher around the school.
The Counter Extremism Project Presents
Enduring Music: Compositions from the Holocaust
Marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Counter Extremism Project's ARCHER at House 88 presents a landmark concert of music composed in ghettos and death camps, performed in defiance of resurgent antisemitism. Curated with world renowned composer, conductor, and musicologist Francesco Lotoro, the program restores classical, folk, and popular works, many written on scraps of paper or recalled from memory, to public consciousness. Featuring world and U.S. premieres from Lotoro's archive, this concert honors a repertoire that endured against unimaginable evil.
