La Gazette: Prévention de la radicalisation : publication d’un guide pour les éducateurs (France)
"What are the most frequently asked questions in relation to religion, social events, relations between women and men during school activities or during socio-educational activities? This question was answered by the Counter Extremism Project (CEP) and the European Foundation for Democracy (EFD), in collaboration with the Interministerial Committee for the Prevention of Delinquency and Radicalization, in a guide entitled 'Laïcité and prevention of radicalization.' The authors of the guide met socio-cultural animators, specialized educators of departmental prevention services, teachers, heads of secondary schools, pedagogical advisors of education, heads of the Academic Mobile Security Team, inspectors of academy, etc. They were struck not by the 'feeling of loneliness' of these professionals, often overwhelmed by some more and more radical rhetoric'".
The Counter Extremism Project Presents
Enduring Music: Compositions from the Holocaust
Marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Counter Extremism Project's ARCHER at House 88 presents a landmark concert of music composed in ghettos and death camps, performed in defiance of resurgent antisemitism. Curated with world renowned composer, conductor, and musicologist Francesco Lotoro, the program restores classical, folk, and popular works, many written on scraps of paper or recalled from memory, to public consciousness. Featuring world and U.S. premieres from Lotoro's archive, this concert honors a repertoire that endured against unimaginable evil.
