"According to Counter Extremism Project (CEP) research analyst Riza Kumar, ISIS-K is estimated to have a force of at least 2,000 affiliated fighters. The group, which was officially accepted by the core ISIS group as an affiliate in January 2015, was formed by the disgruntled commanders of the Pakistani Taliban and is a sworn enemy of the Taliban."
