Breitbart News: FBI Increasing Monitoring of Jihadists on Social Media Following Texas Shooting
An American jihadist in Somalia was found to have encouraged radical Muslims in America to attack the Draw Mohammed contest. Mohamed Abduhallahai Hasan, also known as Mujahid Miski, is considered “one of the most influential terror recruiters to have taken to Twitter.” He left for Somalia in 2008 when he was only 17-years-old. Hassan regularly calls for violence on his social media accounts. He once demanded “the beheading of Frances Townsend, the Counter Extremism Project president and former homeland security advisor to former President George W. Bush.”
The Counter Extremism Project Presents
Enduring Music: Compositions from the Holocaust
Marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Counter Extremism Project's ARCHER at House 88 presents a landmark concert of music composed in ghettos and death camps, performed in defiance of resurgent antisemitism. Curated with world renowned composer, conductor, and musicologist Francesco Lotoro, the program restores classical, folk, and popular works, many written on scraps of paper or recalled from memory, to public consciousness. Featuring world and U.S. premieres from Lotoro's archive, this concert honors a repertoire that endured against unimaginable evil.
