Birmingham Mail: Junaid Hussain: Fellow Islamic State terrorists now pumping out 9,000 Tweets per day
THE poisonous work of Birmingham cyber-hacker Junaid Hussain is being continued by fellow jihadis pumping out more than 90,000 Twitter messages a day. Now experts from the US-based Counter Extremism Project (CEP) say his ‘cyber warfare’ efforts have been taken on by new recruits vying to replace him as chief propagandist for IS. CEP is now calling on Governments around the world to take stronger measures to prevent IS’s online activities.

Enduring Music: Compositions from the Holocaust
Marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Counter Extremism Project's ARCHER at House 88 presents a landmark concert of music composed in ghettos and death camps, performed in defiance of resurgent antisemitism. Curated with world renowned composer, conductor, and musicologist Francesco Lotoro, the program restores classical, folk, and popular works, many written on scraps of paper or recalled from memory, to public consciousness. Featuring world and U.S. premieres from Lotoro's archive, this concert honors a repertoire that endured against unimaginable evil.
