Career Opportunities

The Counter Extremism Project (CEP) offers unique career opportunities for individuals at all levels. Those interested in pursuing a career with CEP are welcome to inquire or submit a cover letter, CV, and three writing samples at [email protected].

Internship Program

CEP’s internship program offers outstanding volunteer opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested international relations, foreign policy, or related fields.

Volunteer interns are recruited year-round on a semester basis to work in CEP’s New York City offices. Primary duties include research, editing, writing, and administrative support. These internships are filled on a rolling basis and are unpaid.

Those interested in the internship program should submit a cover letter, CV, and writing sample to [email protected].

Fact:

On February 4, 2020, the People’s Protection Units (YPG) militants launched a missile attack in Afrin, northwestern Syria. The missiles targeted two schools and a mosque, killing one and wounding seven others.
