On April 19, 2022, three explosions targeted the Abdul Rahim Shahid Secondary School in the Shiite Hazara neighborhood in Kabul, Afghanistan. At least six people were killed and 25 others were injured. No group claimed responsibility for the attack, though some residents accused ISIS-K.

On April 18, 2019, Balochistan separatists stopped a bus traveling from Karachi to Gwadar. The militants forced 16 passengers to disembark, then fatally shot 14 of them at close range, while the other two escaped. They were believed to be targeted for being members of Pakistan’s armed services.

On April 15, 2021, a bomb placed under a vehicle in al-Sadr City in Baghdad, Iraq killed four and wounded 17 others. ISIS claimed responsibility.

On April 12, 2021, Taliban insurgents attacked an army checkpoint in Afghanistan's Balkh province, killing five soldiers and wounding two others. The Taliban also reportedly captured five soldiers.
