Demand Action: Holiday Inn Should Not Host Extremist Groups

CEP is calling on the Holiday Inn, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, to reconsider its decision to host the “Caliphate Conference,” an event scheduled by the Islamist group known as Hizb ut-Tahrir. The event will take place at Holiday Inn Carol Springs, Illinois on April 22. American hotels should not be hosting known extremist groups.

Hizb ut-Tahrir is an international Islamist organization that holds a “Caliphate Conference” each year at a major hotel in the United States. Already banned in more than ten countries, Hizb ut-Tahrir is notorious as the breeding ground or “conveyor belt” for many individuals who have gone on to form or join explicitly violent enterprises, including ISIS executioner Mohammed Emwazi (a.k.a. “Jihadi John”) and al-Muhajiroun founder Omar Bakri Mohammed.

Please sign the petition today and demand responsible action from the Holiday Inn and InterContinental Hotels.

In Their Own Words:

We reiterate once again that the brigades will directly target US bases across the region in case the US enemy commits a folly and decides to strike our resistance fighters and their camps [in Iraq].
