On April 14, the international Islamist group known as Hizb ut-Tahrir will host its annual “Caliphate Conference” at the Ramada Inn, part of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, in Glendale Heights, Illinois. CEP calls on the Ramada Inn to reconsider its decision and refrain from providing Hizb ut-Tahrir use of its venue. American hotels should not provide a platform for extremist groups to spread their hate.

Hizb ut-Tahrir is an international Islamist organization that holds a “Caliphate Conference” each year at a major hotel in the United States. Already banned in more than 14 countries, Hizb ut-Tahrir is notorious as the breeding ground or stepping block for many individuals who have gone on to form or join explicitly violent enterprises, including ISIS executioner Mohammed Emwazi (a.k.a. “Jihadi John”) and al-Muhajiroun founder Omar Bakri Muhammed.
