“Let’s be clear we are not talking about Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck. We are talking about people who deliberately had a competition to insult the messenger Muhammed. If you saw the cartoons that Charlie Hebdo drew, you would understand the anger. And now this woman [Pamela Gellar] wants to have people draw cartoons to insult the prophet, knowing full well that this carries the death penalty in Islam. So definitely she’s asking for an attack.”“Radical Imam: Pamela Gellar Deserves to Die,” Fox News, May 6, 2015,http://nation.foxnews.com/2015/05/06/radical-imam-pamela-geller-deserves-die.

The Counter Extremism Project Presents
Enduring Music: Compositions from the Holocaust
Location:
Eisenhower Theater
Tuesday January 27, 2026 7:30p.m.
Marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Counter Extremism Project's ARCHER at House 88 presents a landmark concert of music composed in ghettos and death camps, performed in defiance of resurgent antisemitism. Curated with world renowned composer, conductor, and musicologist Francesco Lotoro, the program restores classical, folk, and popular works, many written on scraps of paper or recalled from memory, to public consciousness. Featuring world and U.S. premieres from Lotoro's archive, this concert honors a repertoire that endured against unimaginable evil.
