“Today, the US malicious policies in this region (West Asia and North Africa) - which have caused wars, bloodshed, destruction, displacement, poverty, underdevelopment and ethnic and sectarian rifts - in addition to the Zionist regime’s crimes… and its frequent desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque and trampling over the lives and properties of the oppressed Palestinians, is the main problem of you Muslims.”“Ayatollah Khamenei: US Evil Policies, Israeli Crimes, Muslims’ Main Worries,” Tasnim News Agency, September 23, 2015, http://www.tasnimnews.com/english/Home/Single/868512.

Marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Counter Extremism Project's ARCHER at House 88 presents a landmark concert of music composed in ghettos and death camps, performed in defiance of resurgent antisemitism. Curated with world renowned composer, conductor, and musicologist Francesco Lotoro, the program restores classical, folk, and popular works, many written on scraps of paper or recalled from memory, to public consciousness. Featuring world and U.S. premieres from Lotoro's archive, this concert honors a repertoire that endured against unimaginable evil.
