“The Americans have a cowboy mentality in dealing with things. It is a gang mentality. They do not deal with things in a reasonable, political manner. Unless force is used to make them [pull out of Iraq], they will not leave. They would cling to the land. Inshallah, the blows of the resistance will force them to leave, because the [Iraqi] government is weak.”“Head Of Al-Nujaba Political Council Ali Al-Asadi: The Americans Will Only Pull Out Of Iraq By Force, Blows Of The Resistance; Trump, Biden Are Two Sides Of The Same Coin,” MEMRI, March 13, 2021, https://www.memri.org/tv/iraqi-politician-sheikh-ali-asadi-americans-leave-force-blows-resistance-trump-biden-same.

The Counter Extremism Project Presents
Enduring Music: Compositions from the Holocaust
Location:
Eisenhower Theater
Tuesday January 27, 2026 7:30p.m.
Marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Counter Extremism Project's ARCHER at House 88 presents a landmark concert of music composed in ghettos and death camps, performed in defiance of resurgent antisemitism. Curated with world renowned composer, conductor, and musicologist Francesco Lotoro, the program restores classical, folk, and popular works, many written on scraps of paper or recalled from memory, to public consciousness. Featuring world and U.S. premieres from Lotoro's archive, this concert honors a repertoire that endured against unimaginable evil.
