Afghanistan
- The Taliban and the Pakistani government signed a ceasefire agreement in Doha, Qatar, on October 19.
- Unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle killed an individual in Totak, Khost, Afghanistan. The motive for the crime is unclear.
Pakistan
- Two police officers were shot to death in Nushki, Balochistan. ISIS claimed credit for the attack the same day.
- A local political figure, Shah Wazir Khan, was seriously injured by an explosive device in Daddhara, Swat District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- A senior leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Sakhi Marjan Azmi, was seriously injured in an attack in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- Eight Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists were killed fighting the Pakistani military in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- Unidentified gunmen killed 11 security personnel protecting a gas pipeline company in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- Unidentified militants attacked a vehicle belonging to a local militia supported by the Pakistani intelligence service in North Waziristan, killing six people.
- Militants carried out two attacks with explosives in Hangu District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing three police officers.
- Unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle murdered a Ministry of Interior officer in Mastung.

• “Two Pakistani police officers killed by Caliphate gunfire in southern Pakistan.”
“State of Pakistan. This week, the soldiers of the Caliphate assassinated two Pakistani police officers in the Balochistan region in the southwest of the country. In detail, by the grace of God Almighty, on Wednesday morning (Rabi’ al-Thani 30) the soldiers of the Caliphate targeted with pistol fire two members of the apostate Pakistani police who were riding a motorcycle near the city of Gharibabad in the Nushki area. This resulted in their deaths and the seizure of their weapons. The mujahideen returned to their positions safely, praise be to God.”

- October 18: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that the Afghan Taliban reached an agreement with the Pakistani government to end the recent fighting. “Follow-ups. After Qatar brought them to Al Udeid Air Base this morning under U.S. guidance, an agreement was reached between the Afghan Taliban government and the Pakistani military to end clashes and focus on combating ‘terrorism.’”
October 19: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that the Afghan Taliban and the Pakistani government signed a ceasefire agreement during negotiations in Doha. See
“Follow-ups. Under Qatari sponsorship and U.S. orders, a ceasefire agreement was signed between the Afghan Taliban government and the Pakistani army in Doha, allowing them to return to their original missions, for which the U.S. had appointed them (fighting terrorism).”
- October 20: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that unidentified gunmen killed 11 security personnel working for a gas pipeline company in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The post claimed that an “officer” was among the dead. A news report indicates that the deceased were Pakistani security forces deployed to protect a gas company site. “Urgent. This morning, gunmen riding a motorcycle attacked a bus carrying gas pipeline security personnel in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan, killing 11 personnel and wounding 9. Among the dead was an officer.”

- October 20: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that the Afghan Taliban leadership and their families lived in Pakistan during the war in Afghanistan from 2001 to 2021. The post references the Taliban’s Quetta shura, which coordinated and directed military operations and propaganda from Pakistan.
Text: “Did you know that all of these individuals and their families resided in Pakistan throughout the U.S. occupation of Afghanistan (2001–2021)?
“And that the Pakistani intelligence service and the Pakistani army protected them? Amir al-Mu’minin [Commander of the Faithful] Hibatullah Akhundzada, Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, Defense Minister Mullah Yaqoob, Interior Minister Sirajuddin Haqqani, [and] Prime Minister Hasan Akhund.
“Read about the Quetta shura council, [in] Quetta, the capital of Balochistan Province.” “And the disputes began to reveal secrets.”

- October 22: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram alleging that unidentified militants attacked a vehicle belonging to a local militia supported by the Pakistani intelligence service in North Waziristan, killing six people. See https://www.afintl.com/pa/202510229103.
“Urgent. An armed attack targeted a vehicle carrying members of the Pakistani intelligence service’s peacekeeping force in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, killing all passengers. The attackers then poured fuel on the vehicle and set it on fire.
“Six members were killed.”
- October 22: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that two police officers were shot to death in Nushki, Balochistan. ISIS claimed credit for the attack the same day.
Text: “Nushki: Two policemen were killed in a shooting by unknown gunmen.”
“Urgent. The attack was confirmed a short while ago.”
- October 23: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that gunmen on a motorcycle murdered a Ministry of Interior officer in Mastung. A news report indicates that the officer was kidnapped and then executed in Mastung. See http://dailysubnews.com/news/271682/.
“Urgent. Gunmen riding a motorcycle assassinate a Ministry of Interior officer in the Mastung district of Pakistan’s Balochistan province.”
- October 24: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that unidentified militants attacked a police checkpoint with explosives in Hangu District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The post noted that a police patrol coming to the scene of the first explosion was also attacked with an explosive device, and that three police personnel were killed, “including an officer.”
“Urgent. Two consecutive explosions targeting police forces resulted in deaths in the Hangu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan.
“The first explosion targeted a checkpoint. [Afterwards,] as a police patrol approached the scene of the first attack, an explosive device detonated near the support forces.
“The initial toll is three policemen, including an officer.”

- October 24: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that unidentified gunmen attacked a construction company facility in Khuzdar, Balochistan, and kidnapped 18 workers. “Urgent. Gunmen also attacked a construction company camp in Khuzdar District, Balochistan, kidnapping 18 workers and setting fire to several vehicles. The number of workers kidnapped in Balochistan over the past week has risen to 27.”

“Urgent. An explosive device exploded in the Daddhara area of Kabal, Swat District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, seriously wounding advisor Shah Wazir Khan, a prominent local political and social figure. He was given first aid at the scene and transferred to the Civil Hospital in Kabal in critical condition.”
- October 24: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that Sakhi Marjan Azmi, a senior leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, was seriously wounded in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa when his home was attacked with explosives.
“Urgent. A bomb explosion targeted the home of a prominent leader in the Islamic Scholars Party,
Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam, Sakhi Marjan Azmi, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, seriously wounding him.”
- October 24: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle murdered a “security official” in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“Urgent. Gunmen riding a motorcycle assassinated a security official in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.”

- October 24: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle killed someone in Totak, Khost, Afghanistan, noting that the motive was unknown.
“Urgent. Gunmen riding a motorcycle kill a person in the Totak area of Khost, Afghanistan. The motive for the attack is not yet known.”

- October 24: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that eight Pakistani Taliban terrorists were killed fighting the Pakistani military in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The post claims that two TTP leaders were killed.
“Urgent: Armed clashes between the Pakistani Taliban and Pakistani forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province resulted in the deaths of eight Taliban members and the wounding of others, including two leaders, Omar and Malang.”
