1. ISIS Al-Naba Newsletter Edition 484, Published February 27, 2025
- There were no ISIS-K news items in this week’s al-Naba.
2. Pro-ISIS Online Chatter
- February 22: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram condemning the Taliban for allowing the Iranian embassy in Kabul to commemorate the funeral of Hassan Nasrallah, the former secretary general of Hezbollah. The post noted that Hezbollah is responsible for the deaths of Sunnis and that the Taliban “cannot even condemn” the killing of Ayman al-Zawahiri.
“#Report. The Iranian Rafidi [a derogatory name for Shiites] embassy in Kabul is accepting the funeral prayers of the murderers of millions of Sunnis.
“Following this news, some analysts have accused the [Taliban] militia of accepting the funeral prayers of the murderers of the Iranian Rafidis in Kabul, but the militia cannot even condemn the news of the killing of their foolish old man [Ayman] Zawahiri.
“This is a matter between the Rafidis and the militia; it has nothing to do with the believers; it is equally important that the greatest enemies of Islam have been torn apart.”
- February 22: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram claiming that the U.S. and Taliban have collaborated on eliminating ISIS-K targets in Afghanistan. See https://tolonews.com/index.php/afghanistan-193154.
“#Report. Despite the absence of American elements and their trained dogs in the region, the United States still admits that the [Taliban] militia has collaborated with it in eliminating some targets, that is, the task that was previously carried out by some trained Gultier [sic], Gull dong [a dog originally from Pakistan], Shichon, and Tazy [a dog originally from Kazakhstan] dogs in raids and identifying targets assigned by the Americans, is now carried out by the militias. The monthly expenditure of all NATO-trained dogs is probably similar to the weekly dollar bags that the Taliban regularly give to the militias.
“It is worth noting that the militias are a type of human and are not American-trained dogs, but they seem to be extraordinarily successful in their task.
“Source: Summary of an interview with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Canadian television.”
- February 24: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram claiming that a Taliban leader was killed by unknown assailants in Baghlan.
“#Afghanistan. Unknown assailants killed a Taliban militia leader in Baghlan.”
- February 25: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram claiming that conflict between the U.S. and the Taliban is “a show of fake hostility” to create legitimacy for the Taliban. The post stated that the Taliban are mercenaries of the U.S. in fighting against ISIS-K.
“#Report. The weekly dollar bills are still coming in the same way.
“This delicate verbal battle between the militias and the U.S. is just a gold-plating war and a show of fake hostility. The other reality is that the militias are America’s frontline mercenaries, and the Americans are forced and obligated to pay the militias their wages and salaries.
“Other than that, all other talk is empty philosophy.”
- February 25: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram noting that the Taliban admitted that ISIS fighters stole a weapon from a Taliban soldier.
“#Report. Even the devils sometimes tell the truth! The militia admits that after killing one of their hired fighters, the state [Caliphate] fighters ‘looted’ his weapons!”
- February 28: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram celebrating the killing of Taliban-linked cleric, Pakistani politician, and Deobandi scholar Hamid ul Haq Haqqani in a suicide bombing targeting the mosque at the Darul Uloom Haqqania in Akora Khattak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“#Report. The Dajjal [deceiver] of Akora was also shattered this afternoon!
“All the Jami-like practitioners are crying over him. It is said that the Akhund [religious leader] was also a very important person to the militias.
“Kamali Mamali [sic] was, however, at one time supporting the army, defending the republic, protecting Pakistan, acting as an ISI [Inter-Services Intelligence] broker, lobbying the militias . . . and besides, he was also a little bit of an Islamist democrat mullah!”
- February 28: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that Hamid ul Haq Haqqani was killed in a “terrorist attack” in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
“A terrorist attack targeted Hamid [ul Haq] Haqqani, the official of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Democracy, which led to his death along with a number of his companions, as he was leaving Darul Uloom Haqqania, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwest of #Pakistan.”
- February 28: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram claiming that a Russian newspaper stated that Hibatullah Akhundzada’s Taliban faction is growing closer to Iran.
“Russian newspaper Nezavisimaya Gazeta: the faction of Taliban leader Hibatullah Akhundzada is close to Iran, and there are more than 10 Iranian advisors to Akhundzada in Kandahar, and they are directly linked to Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.”
- February 28: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram containing a statement from the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) condemning the killing of Hamid ul Haq Haqqani.
“#Pakistani Taliban condemns bombing, says it is a great loss.”

- Sometimes cash shipments have been concealed as humanitarian aid.
- Most Afghans live in poverty, while Taliban leaders enjoy a level of comfort paid for by the U.S.

- Taliban Minister of Foreign Affairs Amir Khan Muttaqi admires the U.S.

Article 4: The Desire for a Seat
- The article claims that the Taliban’s pursuit of a seat at the United Nations violates Islamic principles.
- The article outlines the various organs and agencies of the UN, including specialized agencies such as the World Health Organization, United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and World Food Program.
- The UN’s goal is to establish global peace. This involves:
- Ensuring peace for all disbelievers.
- Upholding equal rights and territorial integrity.
- Ensuring international cooperation in economic, cultural, social, and humanitarian issues.
- Not discriminating based on religion, gender, language, or other differences and promoting respect for human rights.
- The UN is the greatest idol and promoter of idolatry in the modern age.
- The UN promotes peace through international judicial bodies and legal frameworks. This is an example of human-made laws taking precedence over religious law.
- One either follows the correct religious path or the path of misguidance.
- The UN requires member states to rely on human, rather than religious, entities for judgment, which is the promotion of idolatry.
- The UN is, therefore, a false deity.
- The UN encourages peace and friendship among all member states.
- This goes against religious principles, which separates the world into believers and unbelievers and commands the former to fight against the latter.
- The UN allows itself to pass new laws and grants equal rights to all countries.
- The UN claims to oversee all member states and seeks to rule over aspects of human life. The UN requires the obedience of its members, a form of worship.
- The Taliban was previously attacked because “Mullah Omar did not disavow the enemy of the United Nations, Osama [bin Laden].”
- The Taliban of today have disavowed the enemies of the UN and have fought against them to please the UN.
- The UN was created to dominate nations and force their people to follow international secular law.
- The UN Committee for International Law is tasked with introducing new international laws, making laws legally binding, and organizing treaties.
- The International Court of Justice, one of the organs of the UN, makes decisions based on “tyrannical and polytheistic laws between states and organizations.”
- “No group, organization, or state has the right to criticize or reject the United Nations’ laws and regulations.” The UN has imposed international law on the entire world.
- Any group that violates international law receives condemnation or worse from the United Nations. Through the Security Council, the UN coerces states into following international law.
- The UN seeks to prevent the creation of a true Islamic state.
- The UN considers religiously mandated fighting a crime or an act of terrorism.
- The UN has called for war against states implementing religious law.
- The UN is the modern Pharaoh and compels governments and other entities to accept their laws and authority.
- The article identified other UN branches it labeled as tyrants: the International Committee for Laws, the International Court of Justice, and the Security Council.
- The Security Council has legal authority over its member states, as all countries must abide by the rulings of the Security Council.
- The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) advocates for freedom of speech, which allows for slander and disbelief; freedom of the press; and personal rights.
- Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are notably both members of the United Nations and its various bodies.
- Article 4, Chapter 2 of the United Nations Charter states: “The United Nations shall admit to membership any country that is committed to peace and accepts the principles of the United Nations Charter.” UN membership “is a commitment to this infidel, tyrannical, and polytheistic charter.”
- Anyone who assists the UN, invites their personnel into their country, or respects their values is an infidel. Showing respect for disbelief is an act of disbelief.
- The UN was involved in the division of Palestine and led or otherwise participated in wars in Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Africa, and other countries.
- Reasons why membership in the UN is entering into major disbelief:
- Anyone (individual or state) that joins the UN agrees to be governed by it.
- Anyone who is a part of the UN allies themselves with those who fight against the true religious path. “This is loyalty to the disbelievers.”
- All UN member states are required to be loyal to the organization and fight against its enemies.
- Anyone who joins the UN, therefore pledging to follow its charter, denies that true Muslims and non-believers must be separated and that polytheists and other disbelievers must be fought.
- Those who join the UN acknowledge that religiously mandated fighting is not allowed. This includes member states in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
- The Taliban cannot accept certain parts of international law and then reject others. The Taliban seeks UN membership and, therefore, seeks to acknowledge the UN Charter and its authority.
- Multiple Taliban leaders have stated that they want UN recognition and have claimed that their government has met the conditions for membership, including Suhail Shaheen, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, Amir Khan Muttaqi, and Abdul Kabir.
- Even Hibatullah Akhundzada once claimed to have wanted to join the UN.
- The Taliban have admitted to wanting to abandon religious law and accept the secular law of the UN.
- The Taliban adheres to the Vienna Conventions on Diplomatic and Consular Relations and has allowed foreign embassies to operate in Afghanistan.
- The UN Charter has “heretical clauses” supporting secular law.
- The principles of the UN, which embrace secularism, interfaith cooperation, and human rights, are incompatible with ISIS’s view of religion and politics.
- The Taliban have allowed the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) to operate in the country.
- UNAMA violates Taliban law by continuing to “operate and engage with women freely.”
- The Taliban’s claim that they only adhere to the parts of the UN Charter that correspond with religious law is false. The entire UN Charter is contradictory to religious law, and following it is a betrayal.
- It is forbidden to join in a pact with disbelievers.
