Afghanistan
- Unidentified drones, later identified as belonging to Pakistan, attacked houses in Kunar, Khost, and Nangarhar, which allegedly belonged to individuals affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban (TTP).
- An estimated 32 Pakistani Taliban members were killed in these attacks, including two TTP commanders.
- Taliban and Tajik soldiers clashed near the Amu River basin.

- Unidentified individuals attacked a Pakistani military checkpoint in Mithri, Balochistan, and two soldiers were killed in Turbat, Balochistan, while they were attacking a house.
- Unidentified individuals murdered the head of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Association, Khalid Khan, in Malakand district.
- Three Pakistani Taliban members were killed and two Pakistani soldiers were injured during fighting in Dera Ismail Khan.

- August 25: A pro-ISIS post on Telegram stated that unidentified individuals attacked a Pakistani military checkpoint in Mithri, Balochistan, and two soldiers were killed in Turbat, Balochistan, while attacking a house.
“Urgent. Armed attack targets Pakistani military checkpoint in Mithri district of Balochistan. A hand grenade attack targeted a force besieging a house to arrest a militant in Turbat, Balochistan, killing two Pakistani soldiers and wounding others.”

- August 27: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that unidentified drones attacked houses in Kunar, Khost, and Nangarhar, which allegedly belonged to individuals affiliated with the Pakistani Taliban. - August 28: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that multiple members of the Pakistani Taliban, including two leaders, had been killed in Pakistani drone strikes in Afghanistan.
“Update. Pakistani media: ten members of the Pakistani Taliban were killed in the bombing of the
Afghan province of Nangarhar, six members of the movement were killed in the Afghan province of Khost, and others were killed in several Afghan provinces as a result of Pakistani airstrikes last night, Wednesday.
“Other sources report the deaths of 32 members of the movement, including a second-rank commander in Nangarhar named ‘Aki,’ who was responsible for purchasing weapons and explosives. “A third-rank commander in Khost named ‘Akhtar Gul’ was also killed.”
- August 28: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram claiming that unidentified individuals murdered the head of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Association, Khalid Khan, in Malakand district.

- August 29: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram noting that three Pakistani Taliban members were killed and two Pakistani soldiers were injured during fighting in Dera Ismail Khan.
“Urgent. Armed clashes between members of the Pakistani Taliban and the Pakistani army in the Dera Ismail Khan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province resulted in the deaths of three Taliban members and the injury of two soldiers.”
