The post claimed that the Taliban “is suffering economically due to Trump’s cutting of aid.”

  • April 21: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram claiming that unidentified militants attacked a Pakistani army base in Panjgur, Balochistan. The post alleged that Pakistani soldiers “suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment” in the attack, which involved “heavy weapons while an important meeting of military officials [at the base] was underway.”

“Urgent. Local sources: Gunmen attacked the main Pakistani army camp in Panjgur, Balochistan. Heavy gunfire continued after three large explosions.

  • April 22: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram claiming that unidentified gunmen killed five police officers and wounded three others in an attack on a police facility in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

  • April 23: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that the Taliban condemned the attack on a tourist area of Indian-administered Kashmir and sent condolences to Hindus.

  • April 24: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that Abdullah Nechari, a leader of Jamiat Uleme-e-Islam (JUI-F), was killed in an attack in Kalat district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 

“Urgent. An explosive device detonated targeting Abdullah Nechari, a leader of the Pakistani Democratic Ulema Party [Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam], in the Kabuto [region of] Kalat district in ​​Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, killing him instantly.”

 

  • April 25: Pro-ISIS post on Telegram stating that four soldiers were killed and three were wounded in an attack with explosives on a vehicle near Margat Chowki in Quetta, Balochistan.

  • A series of infographics condemning the growing relationship between the Taliban and Russia. 

Summary:

  • First, the Taliban made an agreement with the United States in Doha, Qatar, before moving on to make deals with Russia.
